This Provincial title opened a world of possibilities for me. I remember being skeptical entering the pageant, but wanted to support charity. I am so happy I did. Besides the crown and a title, I gained amazing experience and a fantastic family-like community of smart, confident girls and women.
I am a fashion designer, curvy model and a person with disabilities. Also, I am a woman 45+... a little too old you say to do all of it. Not really, no age restriction for being happy and doing what you love. Spring of 2017, I participated in Mrs. Canada Globe. Fall of 2017, I will represent Canada in London, England as your Ms. Canada Universal Elegance.
Confidence is a beautiful thing you can have as it empowers you to inspire others. As a mentor now, I love smart young women, to see the world as the future for their children and be the leaders in their communities. Through the Leadership Program at Miss, Miss Teen and Mrs. BC, they can achieve that, while creating friendships and self-development. Looking forward to a bright future!
